According to the company this grower has been illegally using SNFL property and producing the varieties Sheegene 4 (Luisco\u2122) and Sheegene 20 (Allison\u2122).<\/p><p>At the same time, SNFL also announced that it had just settled another case with a grower from the Grottaglie area for illegal production of its variety Sheegene 2 (Timpson\u2122). In this case the illegal vineyard was uprooted and destroyed and the grower had to pay compensation to SNFL.<\/p><p>SNFL states that it is committed to stop any acts of infringement of its rights in Italy to protect the interest of SNFL\u2019s bona fide licensed growers, who are demanding actions against these illegal producers who pay no royalties and therefore compete unfairly with SNFL licensed growers.<\/p><p>SNFL has been actively looking for infringers in the Puglia region and will always act against any illegal growers, taking legal action including the destruction of the vines and claims for compensation\/damages.<\/p><p>A spokesperson said it is widely known <a href=\"http:\/\/snfl-group.eu\/en\/\">Special New Fruit LTD<\/a> is also the owner of the rights for Italy of the <a href=\"http:\/\/snfl-group.eu\/en\/categories\/all-categories\/white-seedless-en\/\">varieties<\/a> known as \u201cTimco TM\u201d (\u201cSheegene 13\u201d), \u201cMelanie TM\u201d (\u201cSheegene 17\u201d), \u201cCarlita TM\u201d (\u201cSheegene 25\u201d), \u201cKelly TM\u201d (\u201cSheegene 18\u201d), \u201cBlack Moon TM\u201d (\u201cSheegene 16\u201d), \u201cKrissy TM\u201d (\u201cSheegene
